⚠️ Current Issues

⚠️ 99999 There are no DCSS parties on this case. If this is a DCSS case, please add a New Filed By or contact the court to update the subtype of an existing party on this case to DCSS.

  • This is a message from the court’s system. First, be sure DCSS is listed as a party on Step 2, the Parties step. If they’re not, add them with a party type of DCSS. If they are, send us a chat and we’ll be happy to contact the court and ask them to update the party subtype. We’ll let you know by email after they’ve made that correction and the filing is ready to submit!

⚠️ Notice Regarding Payment of Support (Governmental) (FL-632) must be filed by a party with Role ‘Third Party’ or ‘Petitoner’ and with Party Type ‘Organization’.

  • When filing a NRPS, the court requires that it only be filed by a petitioner or by a third party organization. For this reason, you’ll need to be sure that Alameda DCSS is listed as a party on Step 2, the Parties step, under a party type of Third Party IF they are not already the petitioner in the case.

⚠️ Error deleting filing

  • While most all filings are permitted to be deleted by the creator, if your filing was the very first one created for a specific CSE number, it cannot be deleted if there were subsequent filings created with the same CSE number. The error message displayed states, “A Filing cannot be deleted if it is the Initial Filing and there are subsequent filings.” which is 100% true. If you received this message and subsequent filings cannot be deleted first, send us a chat and we’ll be happy to get that filing removed for you.

A GovLink update is coming soon that will allow these UNFILED filings to be deleted by a user with permission to do so. Stay tuned!

⚠️ BASE 400 error

  • While the BASE 400 error is rare, it does still pop in from time to time. It generally means that the court’s system was down when the original case information used to create the filing was imported. Our concierge team has a magic wand for this error though, so if you’ll just send us a chat, we’ll get you rolling again!
